Mechanisms and prevention of antibiotic resistance and tolerance

The Stracy lab is based in the Dunn School of Pathology at the University of Oxford. We take an interdisciplinary approach to study how bacteria respond to antibiotics from multiple perspectives; ranging from the molecular biology to the infection epidemiology. Our ultimate goal is to develop better ways to treat infections and new strategies to reduce the spread of antibiotic resistance.
